The Village – Al Jawhara Mall in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, demonstrates this approach with 222 Texlon® ETFE cushions, each consisting of three layers. Covering more than 12,500 m², the project was developed near King Abdullah Sports City and forms part of a larger destination with more than 132 stores, a five-star hotel and entertainment facilities.

The mall combines diagrid and barrel vault-shaped roofs. Diagrid structures can be applied across different scales, including canopies, roofs and façades.
